Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide that acts at the growth hormone secretagogue receptor. Its defining characteristic in the literature is selectivity: in published models it produces GH release with minimal effect on cortisol, prolactin or ACTH, which makes it a cleaner tool than earlier secretagogues.
Commonly used to isolate GHS-R1a activity from the broader hormonal noise seen with less selective compounds.
This product is supplied as a lyophilised powder and must be reconstituted before use. Let the vial reach room temperature, wipe both septa with an alcohol pad, then add bacteriostatic water slowly down the inner wall of the vial rather than directly onto the cake — peptides are shear sensitive.
Swirl gently until dissolved. Never shake. The solution should be clear and free of particulates.
Store lyophilised at 2–8 °C. Reconstituted: refrigerate, use within 30 days.
