Cagrilintide is a long-acting amylin receptor agonist designed for weekly dosing intervals in study protocols. It is most often examined in combination with GLP-1 agonists, where the two mechanisms are studied for additive effects on satiety signalling.
Research focuses on calcitonin and amylin receptor subtypes, gastric emptying rate, and combination pharmacology with incretin agonists.
This product is supplied as a lyophilised powder and must be reconstituted before use. Let the vial reach room temperature, wipe both septa with an alcohol pad, then add bacteriostatic water slowly down the inner wall of the vial rather than directly onto the cake — peptides are shear sensitive.
Swirl gently until dissolved. Never shake. The solution should be clear and free of particulates.
Store lyophilised at 2–8 °C. Reconstituted: refrigerate, use within 30 days.
