NAD+ is a coenzyme present in every living cell, central to redox reactions and required as a substrate by sirtuins and PARPs. It is not a peptide, but it appears constantly alongside them in longevity research, which is why we carry it.
Studied for sirtuin-dependent deacetylation, DNA repair via PARP activity, mitochondrial respiration and the NAD+/NADH ratio as a metabolic readout.
This product is supplied as a lyophilised powder and must be reconstituted before use. Let the vial reach room temperature, wipe both septa with an alcohol pad, then add bacteriostatic water slowly down the inner wall of the vial rather than directly onto the cake — peptides are shear sensitive.
Swirl gently until dissolved. Never shake. The solution should be clear and free of particulates.
Store lyophilised at 2–8 °C, protected from light and moisture. Reconstituted: refrigerate, use within 14 days.
Because our products are lyophilised, they remain stable during ambient shipping for several months. For long-term storage, keep unopened lyophilised vials at −20 °C or colder and avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles.
