GHK-Cu is a glycyl-histidyl-lysine tripeptide bound to a copper(II) ion. Plasma levels of the native peptide decline substantially with age, which is the observation that launched most of the research interest in it.
Supplied as a deep blue lyophilised powder — the colour comes from the copper complex and is the expected appearance.
Studied for extracellular matrix remodelling, collagen and glycosaminoglycan synthesis, antioxidant activity and gene-expression modulation across a broad set of pathways.
This product is supplied as a lyophilised powder and must be reconstituted before use. Let the vial reach room temperature, wipe both septa with an alcohol pad, then add bacteriostatic water slowly down the inner wall of the vial rather than directly onto the cake — peptides are shear sensitive.
Swirl gently until dissolved. Never shake. The solution should be clear and free of particulates.
Store lyophilised at 2–8 °C, protected from light. Reconstituted: refrigerate, use within 30 days.
